Who is Praxedo?
Praxedo is a French field service management company, PE-owned since 2022, selling in France, the US, Canada, Germany, and Spain. It claims more than 1,500 customers and 65,000 daily users, and its strengths are real: a scheduling optimization engine, subcontractor network management, and connectors into ERP and CRM systems for telecom, utility, and maintenance operations.
Pricing is published per user and starts at $39 per user per month on the Basic plan, rising through Advanced at $69, Optimized at $99, and Automated at $149, with custom enterprise plans above that. There is a five-user minimum, listed rates exclude setup and implementation fees, and add-ons and connectors are priced separately. No free trial is advertised.
Praxedo is honest about who it serves: dispatch-heavy mid-sized operations, often running subcontractors, that need optimization math. A two-truck home service crew is below its minimum seat count and outside its center of gravity.
Who is Autopilot?
Autopilot is an all-in-one CRM built for home service businesses: junk removal, cleaning, landscaping, moving, and the rest of the trades that keep neighborhoods running. Plans start at $49 a month for scheduling, estimates, invoicing, payments, and online booking. Crew at $99 adds two-way texting and limited calling. Full Throttle at $149 adds the full phone system, AI receptionist, QuickBooks, GPS, and marketing tools. Plans include 1, 5, or 10 team members respectively.
It was built by a founder who ran his own junk removal company and got tired of paying for three tools that didn't talk to each other. Over 400 businesses run on it today, and it holds a 4.8 rating on the App Store and 4.9 on Google Play.
Against Praxedo, the line is simple: their floor is five paid seats plus implementation fees, and Autopilot's ceiling is $149 flat with the phone, marketing, and an AI receptionist already inside.

The bottom line
Two different tools for two different businesses. Here is the honest split.
Choose Praxedo if…
- You run 20+ field techs or subcontractor crews and need real schedule optimization
- You are in telecom, utilities, or facilities maintenance with high work-order volume
- You need FSM wired into an existing ERP or corporate CRM
- You have an IT team or budget to run a proper implementation project
Choose Autopilot if…
- You run a crew of 1 to 15 and a five-seat minimum makes no sense for you
- You want to start this week with free onboarding, not scope an implementation
- You want the phone, texting, and an AI receptionist included instead of missing
- You want customer-facing tools built in: online booking, review requests, and marketing campaigns
Switching from Praxedo takes an afternoon
Four steps, and our team does the heavy one for you.
- 1
Export your customers
Pull your client list out of Praxedo as a CSV. Every FSM platform supports this, and it takes about five minutes.
- 2
We import everything for you
Send us the file and our team loads your customers, jobs, and price book into Autopilot as part of free onboarding. No spreadsheet wrestling on your end.
- 3
Point your phone number at Autopilot
On Full Throttle, keep your existing business number. We port it or forward it, so calls start landing in Autopilot with recording, transcripts, and the AI receptionist behind them.
- 4
Run both for a week, then cut over
Your Praxedo account keeps working during your free trial. Most crews book their first Autopilot job on day one and cancel the old subscription within the month.
