Spend on one side. Recorded work on the other.

Cost per customer and return on ad spend become more useful when you understand what each number includes. Keep the period consistent and check the source records behind the sales.

  • Review results from the connected Local Services account.
  • See spend, recorded sales, cost per customer, and return on ad spend.
  • Wait for historical spend to finish syncing before using ROAS.
  • Use USD accounts for the currently supported ROAS reporting.

A lead is the start of the job, not the end of the report.

When someone calls from Local Services Ads, you still need to quote the work, book it, and collect payment. Keep the advertising view near the customer and job records your office uses every day.

  1. Connect Local Services Ads

Choose your Google Local Services account and the Autopilot lead source that identifies its work. This is a separate connection from your regular Google Ads campaigns.

  2. Bring in the spend history

The connection synchronizes daily advertising spend. Historical spend needs to finish syncing before return-on-ad-spend results are available.

  3. Review the recorded result

Compare spend with the customers and sales attributed in Autopilot. Open the business records behind the total to understand what your leads became.

The ad spend is one part of the picture. Review the jobs and sales you recorded against that source, with the report's currency and sync limitations in view.

Questions about Local Services Ads

What to know before you put it to work.

Is this the same as the Google Ads connection?
No. Local Services Ads has a separate connection for spend and source-based sales reporting in Autopilot settings.
Does this import a list of incoming LSA calls?
This reporting connection synchronizes advertising spend. The job breakdown uses jobs already recorded in Autopilot under the lead source you selected; it is not an imported call-lead inbox.
Why might return on ad spend be unavailable?
Historical spend may still be syncing. The current return-on-ad-spend report also requires a USD Local Services account.
Does every lead become a sale in the report?
No. A lead and a recorded sale are different things. Sales attribution depends on the connected data and the customer and job sources recorded in Autopilot.
Will this run my Local Services advertising?
The integration connects spend and recorded job reporting. It does not promise campaign management or a guaranteed number of leads or jobs.

Keep the whole business connected.
