Referral Program Terms
Last Updated: 10/01/2026
These Referral Program Terms ("Program Terms") govern the Autopilot Referral Program (the "Program") run by Autopilot Solutions, Inc. ("Autopilot", "we", "our", or "us").
They apply to anyone who shares a referral link or code (a "Referrer") and to any business that signs up through one (a "Referred Business").
By sharing your referral link or code, publishing a referral page, or signing up through someone's referral link or code, you agree to these Program Terms. The Autopilot Terms of Service and Privacy Policy also apply. Where these Program Terms and the Terms of Service say different things about the Program, these Program Terms control. Some Referrers have a separate written agreement with Autopilot. Where that agreement and these Program Terms differ, the agreement controls.
If you do not agree, do not take part in the Program.
1. Who can refer
You can be a Referrer if you are:
- An Autopilot customer. The Referrer is the business, not a person. Owners and admins of the business manage its referral page and payout settings on its behalf, and rewards are paid to the business.
- An approved Autopilot partner with a partner account.
You must be at least 18 years old. We may decline or remove anyone from the Program at our discretion.
2. How a referral is credited
A business counts as your Referred Business only when it creates its Autopilot account in one of these two ways:
- By using the sign-up buttons on your referral page (your personal page at tryautopilot.app), or
- By typing your referral code into the referral code field when it signs up.
The following do not count:
- A business that already has, or previously had, an Autopilot account.
- A business that signed up some other way, even if you recommended Autopilot to it. We cannot add a referral after the fact.
- A business that is yours or that you own, operate, or control. A business cannot use its own code, and referring yourself under another name is a breach of these Program Terms.
Each Referred Business has exactly one Referrer: the one whose page or code it used when it signed up. Our records decide who is credited.
3. What the Referred Business gets
A Referred Business gets 50% off its first invoice (its first month) after the free trial. The discount shown on the referral page and on the sign-up page is the one that applies.
A sign-up gets one discount. A referral discount takes the place of any other sign-up offer, and offers cannot be combined.
The free trial is the same with or without a referral. The Referred Business keeps its discount regardless of what later happens to its Referrer.
4. What the Referrer earns
You earn a one-time reward for each Referred Business, based on the plan the Referred Business is on when the reward unlocks:
| Plan | Reward |
|---|---|
| Run | $100 |
| Grow | $200 |
| Scale | $300 |
When a reward unlocks. The reward unlocks when the Referred Business pays its second subscription invoice. Only full-period invoices count: a first invoice or a renewal invoice that includes a plan charge greater than $0. The reward amount is set by the plan on that second invoice.
What does not count. Add-ons, usage charges, extras, upgrade prorations, legacy plans, and specially priced or sales-negotiated plans never count toward an unlock and never earn a reward.
When a reward does not unlock. If a counted invoice is refunded in full before the reward is paid, or the Referred Business's subscription ends before the second counted invoice is paid, the reward does not unlock and the referral earns nothing. Partial refunds and goodwill credits have no effect. Once a reward has been paid, it stays paid.
Your referral dashboard in Autopilot shows what you earn, which rewards have unlocked, and what has been paid.
5. Payouts
Schedule. Rewards are paid once a month. Rewards that have unlocked by the end of a month are gathered into that month's payout on the 1st of the following month and sent on or after the 6th.
How you are paid. Payouts are sent through Tremendous, a third-party payments provider. You receive an email from Tremendous at your payout email address and choose how to take the money: gift card, prepaid card, PayPal, or bank transfer. Tremendous may charge a fee for some options, such as PayPal or bank transfer. Those fees are paid by the recipient.
Payout email. Payouts go to the business owner's Autopilot login email unless a different payout email has been set on the referral page in Autopilot. You are responsible for keeping that address correct and for keeping access to it. A payout sent to the email address on file is a completed payment.
Minimum. The minimum payout is $5. A smaller balance is held and carried into a later month until it reaches the minimum.
Taxes. You are responsible for any taxes on the rewards you receive. We may ask you for tax information, such as a Form W-9, and may report payouts to tax authorities where the law requires. We may hold payouts until requested tax information is provided.
Closed accounts. If your Autopilot account or partner account is closed, rewards that have not yet been paid are forfeited.
6. Your referral page
Your referral page shows content you provide: your name or business name, a photo or a video link, a quote, and how you want to be credited. You agree that:
- The content is yours to use, is truthful, and does not infringe anyone's rights.
- You grant Autopilot a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display that content on your referral page and in the Program for as long as your page is published.
- Every save is reviewed before it is published. We may reject content or take a page down at any time, for any reason, including content that is offensive, misleading, or off-topic.
- You will not say or imply that Autopilot guarantees any result, revenue, or savings.
- When you recommend Autopilot, you will make clear that you can earn a reward if someone signs up, as required by the FTC's endorsement guidelines and similar laws.
You also agree not to promote your referral link or code by:
- Sending spam or unsolicited bulk messages of any kind.
- Running paid search or social ads on Autopilot's name, trademarks, or variations of them.
- Posting it on coupon, deal, or discount code websites.
- Presenting yourself as Autopilot or as an employee of Autopilot.
7. Fraud and abuse
We may void unpaid rewards, take down a referral page, and end your participation in the Program if we believe there has been self-referral, fake or duplicate accounts, payment fraud, manipulation of sign-ups or invoices, or any other breach of these Program Terms or the Terms of Service. Autopilot's records are final in deciding whether a referral is credited and whether a reward has unlocked.
8. Changes to the Program
We may change the reward amounts, the discount, or any other part of the Program, or end the Program entirely, at any time by updating this page. Rewards that have already unlocked are paid under the terms they unlocked under, and referrals already made keep the terms that applied when the Referred Business signed up.
9. Your relationship with Autopilot
Taking part in the Program does not make you an employee, agent, partner, or representative of Autopilot. You have no authority to make commitments on Autopilot's behalf, and you may not present yourself as having any.
10. Liability and governing law
The limitations of liability, disclaimers, indemnification, and governing law sections of the Terms of Service apply to the Program. Autopilot's total liability to you in connection with the Program will not exceed the rewards owed to you under these Program Terms.
