Keep the model, warranties and next service date on the equipment record.

Every property has a history.

The upstairs air conditioner. The water heater in the garage. The furnace you installed last winter. Give each unit its own record under the right customer and service address, with a name your crew recognizes.

  1. Record the unit

Choose the equipment type and add its make, model, serial number, installation date and location at the property.

  2. Keep the useful details

Add photos, warranty dates and type-specific details such as filter size or fuel type. Set the service interval for that unit.

  3. Connect the work

Select the equipment worked on when you record a job. The job becomes part of the unit's service history.

  4. Track the next service

Mark routine maintenance complete on a completed visit. Autopilot advances the service date and calculates the next due date when an interval is set.

Send more than an address to the technician.

The upstairs AC. The water heater in the garage. The unit you installed last winter. A recognizable equipment record helps the crew find the right system and the right history.

Questions about Customer Equipment

What to know before you put it to work.

Is this the same as rental asset tracking?
No. Customer equipment records describe systems installed at a customer's property, such as an AC unit or water heater. Rental asset tracking describes your own dumpsters and rental units.
What equipment types can I record?
The equipment catalog includes HVAC and plumbing types with relevant detail fields. You can also set up custom equipment types for the systems your company services.
Does every completed job move the maintenance date?
No. The unit must be marked as having routine maintenance completed, and the job must have a completed visit. A configured service interval is needed to calculate the next due date.
Do replaced units lose their history?
No. Mark a unit as replaced or removed. Its record and linked service history stay available.

Keep the whole business connected.
