  1. Send your normal invoice

    Build the invoice from the job and send it by text or email. Your customer opens the secure payment page from the link.

  2. Let the customer see their options

    When Klarna is available, the customer can choose it at checkout. Klarna determines eligibility and the payment options it offers.

  3. Keep the repayments with Klarna

    When Klarna accepts the payment, the full amount, minus fees, is made available in your connected Stripe account. Klarna collects the customer's repayments.

What to know before you put it to work.

Can every customer use Klarna on every invoice?
No. Klarna availability and payment options depend on factors such as the customer, business eligibility, location, currency, transaction amount, and Stripe configuration. Eligible options appear dynamically at checkout.
Does my customer need an Autopilot account to pay?
No. Send the invoice by text or email and the customer can open the secure payment page from the link.
Do I collect the customer's installments?
No. Klarna collects the initial payment and future installments from the customer. Your Stripe account receives the accepted payment amount minus fees, with its normal payout schedule.
Where do I see the rates and terms?
The customer reviews the actual options and terms in Klarna's checkout. Autopilot does not promise a particular installment plan or interest rate.
