A conversion is not always a customer.

Google's conversion count follows the conversion actions configured in the ad account. It can include fractional values. It is different from a count of unique customers or completed jobs.

  • See recorded clicks, impressions, and provider conversions.
  • Review spend and cost per click in the ad account's currency.
  • Check current campaign status and tracking settings.
  • See the first and last recorded day and any gaps in coverage.

Check the records behind the totals.

Compare campaign status, tracking, recorded days and provider results in the same table. Check the dates covered before comparing campaigns. Google's conversions are not a count of booked Autopilot jobs.

  1. Connect your advertising account

Authorize Google Ads in Autopilot and choose the account you want to review. Let the connection bring in the available campaign data.

  2. Let campaign records synchronize

The connection saves available daily campaign data. Missing days are not assumed to be zero, and the latest day may not have arrived yet.

  3. Review a consistent date range

Compare recorded spend, clicks, impressions, and provider conversions. Check how many days were recorded before comparing one campaign with another.

Questions about Google Ads Tracking

What to know before you put it to work.

Does this manage my Google Ads campaigns?
This page describes the Google Ads connection and tracking in Autopilot. Managed advertising is a separate service.
Does a provider conversion mean a booked job?
No. Provider conversions are Google's conversion actions, not unique customers or booked jobs. This campaign report does not provide reliable job-level attribution or a return-on-ad-spend calculation.
Why isn't campaign spend added into one total?
Saved campaign records do not retain a currency code. Spend and cost per click use each ad account's currency, so the report avoids combining money from different accounts or assuming it is all US dollars.
Can I see other advertising channels?
Autopilot has separate connections for Google Local Services Ads and Microsoft Ads, as well as Facebook. Availability depends on your plan or add-ons and connected accounts.
Where do I review the rest of the business?
Use Reports for job sales, payments, lead sources, crew activity, and other operating questions alongside your advertising results.

Keep the whole business connected.
