Who is Streit V.1?

Streit V.1 is the long-running Handwerk ERP from STREIT Software GmbH, formerly Streit Datentechnik, based in Haslach im Kinzigtal in Germany's Black Forest. The company has been at it for over 40 years, employs around 150 people, and reports more than 36,000 users. Its heartland is electrical (Elektro), plumbing-heating-climate (SHK), refrigeration, and roofing businesses in Germany.

The software is a true ERP: order processing, quoting and calculation, invoicing, inventory, time tracking, scheduling, integrated financial accounting, and mobile apps for the field, with German wholesaler interfaces like DATANORM and connections the German trades expect. It sells as a rental license called STREIT Complete, priced by number of licenses, and pricing is not published; you get a quote.

For an established German Elektro or SHK firm that wants its whole business, accounting included, in one German system, Streit is a serious and proven choice. It is not aimed at North America, it is not a quick self-serve signup, and it does nothing about your phone.

Who is Autopilot?

Autopilot is an all-in-one CRM built for home service businesses: junk removal, cleaning, landscaping, moving, and the rest of the trades that keep neighborhoods running. Plans start at $49 a month for scheduling, estimates, invoicing, payments, and online booking. Crew at $99 adds two-way texting and limited calling. Full Throttle at $149 adds the full phone system, AI receptionist, QuickBooks, GPS, and marketing tools. Plans include 1, 5, or 10 team members respectively.

It was built by a founder who ran his own junk removal company and got tired of paying for three tools that didn't talk to each other. Over 400 businesses run on it today, and it holds a 4.8 rating on the App Store and 4.9 on Google Play.

Against Streit V.1, Autopilot trades ERP depth for speed and the front door: a US-first app your crew can start using this week, with the phone answered by an AI receptionist from day one.

The bottom line

Two different tools for two different businesses. Here is the honest split.

Choose Streit V.1 if…

  • You run an established German Elektro, SHK, refrigeration, or roofing firm
  • You want quoting, jobs, inventory, payroll, and accounting in one German ERP
  • You order through German wholesalers and need DATANORM-style interfaces
  • You have office staff to run a full ERP and time for a proper implementation

Choose Autopilot if…

  • You run a home service crew in the US or Canada
  • You want to sign up, import your customers, and book jobs the same week
  • You want the phone system and an AI receptionist included, not absent
  • You want texting, online booking, and marketing in the same app
  • You want a published flat price: $49 to $149 a month, no quote call required

Switching from Streit V.1 takes an afternoon

Four steps, and our team does the heavy one for you.

  1. 1

    Export your customers

Pull your client list out of Streit V.1 as a CSV. Every FSM platform supports this, and it takes about five minutes.

  2. 2

    We import everything for you

Send us the file and our team loads your customers, jobs, and price book into Autopilot as part of free onboarding. No spreadsheet wrestling on your end.

  3. 3

Point your phone number at Autopilot

On Full Throttle, keep your existing business number. We port it or forward it, so calls start landing in Autopilot with recording, transcripts, and the AI receptionist behind them.

  4. 4

Run both for a week, then cut over

Your Streit V.1 account keeps working during your free trial. Most crews book their first Autopilot job on day one and cancel the old subscription within the month.
