Who is AccuLynx?

AccuLynx has been a fixture in roofing software since 2008 and remains the deepest roofing-only end-to-end platform: CRM, aerial measurements, material calculations, branded proposals, direct supplier ordering, production management, and insurance restoration workflows. It stayed independent after Verisk's planned $2.35 billion acquisition was terminated in December 2025 under FTC pressure, which keeps roofing one of the last verticals with a big independent player.

Pricing starts at $250 a month for the published Essential plan, with Pro and Elite tiers quoted per company. Third parties report per-user pricing on the higher plans, and extras like text messaging are add-ons, so real monthly bills often land well above the sticker. To its credit, AccuLynx sells month to month with no long-term contracts.

If you run a mid-market roofing operation with dedicated office staff, insurance work, and supplier accounts, AccuLynx is a serious, purpose-built choice. If you are a one-to-three-crew shop, you will pay roofing-enterprise money for depth you may never open.

Who is Autopilot?

Autopilot is an all-in-one CRM built for home service businesses: junk removal, cleaning, landscaping, moving, and the rest of the trades that keep neighborhoods running. Plans start at $49 a month for scheduling, estimates, invoicing, payments, and online booking. Crew at $99 adds two-way texting and limited calling. Full Throttle at $149 adds the full phone system, AI receptionist, QuickBooks, GPS, and marketing tools. Plans include 1, 5, or 10 team members respectively.

It was built by a founder who ran his own junk removal company and got tired of paying for three tools that didn't talk to each other. Over 400 businesses run on it today, and it holds a 4.8 rating on the App Store and 4.9 on Google Play.

Autopilot plans start at $49 a month, and the $149 Full Throttle plan includes the full phone system, AI receptionist, QuickBooks, GPS, and marketing tools.

The bottom line

Two different tools for two different businesses. Here is the honest split.

Choose AccuLynx if…

  • You run a multi-crew roofing company with office staff and heavy insurance restoration work
  • You order materials from ABC, SRS, or Beacon and want ordering inside the job file
  • You need aerial measurements, material calculations, and production management in one roofing-specific system
  • You want an open API to connect other tools

Choose Autopilot if…

  • You run a small roofing crew and $250 a month is a lot for software that does not answer your phone
  • You want missed calls texted back and booked by an AI receptionist, included in the plan
  • You want built-in marketing, review requests, SMS and email campaigns, without add-ons
  • You do more than roofing and need one CRM across all your service work

Switching from AccuLynx takes an afternoon

Four steps, and our team does the heavy one for you.

  1. 1

    Export your customers

Pull your client list out of AccuLynx as a CSV. Every FSM platform supports this, and it takes about five minutes.

  2. 2

    We import everything for you

Send us the file and our team loads your customers, jobs, and price book into Autopilot as part of free onboarding. No spreadsheet wrestling on your end.

  3. 3

Point your phone number at Autopilot

On Full Throttle, keep your existing business number. We port it or forward it, so calls start landing in Autopilot with recording, transcripts, and the AI receptionist behind them.

  4. 4

Run both for a week, then cut over

Your AccuLynx account keeps working during your free trial. Most crews book their first Autopilot job on day one and cancel the old subscription within the month.

AccuLynx supports exporting your customer and job data, and our onboarding team imports it for you as part of free setup.
